Shared Bread Volunteer Day
On January 16th, we had the opportunity to cook a meal for over 100 homeless people
in the South Bay. Shared Bread is an amazing organization connecting with businesses, schools, churches, and non-profit organizations to feed
and provide basic needs to and for the homeless.

Meet and Greet was a great success!
On January 18th, we had our first Meet and Greet! All members were invited and encouraged to bring friends to introduce them and learn more
about our Forward Giving Circle.
There was a lot of enthusiasm and interest in what we can accomplish together!

NEW: March 7, 2024: Educational Evening about Maternal Health
In anticipation of this year's focus on Maternal Health, we hope you will join us on
March 7th from 6:00 – 7:30pm to hear the issues facing pregnant women and their children in underserved communities and the critical work being done in this area.
The evening will feature a talk from Dr. Derrick Butler, MD, MPH, the Chief Medical Officer at the To Help Everyone Clinic (more info Here), a leading federally qualified community health center serving patients in South LA with a specific focus on addressing the health disparities of urban populations.

How to Become a Member and Financial Information
How to become a member:
Membership is $1500.00/per person.
Forward Giving has 501C3 status (non-profit) through a fiscal sponsor and Players and Philanthropy Fund (basically our bank). As such, they take 6% of every donation.
If you pay via check or ACH or through a charitable fund, there will not be any additional fees, above and beyond the 6%. If you would like to cover the financial institution fee of $90.00 per member, your donation amount will be $1590.00
If you choose to make your donation by credit card, available on the donate button on the website, there will be an additional administration fee of $78.00,
for a total donation amount of $1668.00.
